Jodi practices yoga as a way to balance mind, body & spirit. After receiving a degree in Kinesiology from Indiana University Jodi developed an innovative core-centric training program for elite athletes. She completed her 500 E - RYT from 7 Centers in Sedona, AZ with an emphasis on Yoga Therapeutics and Ayurveda. The journey of certification has deepened her practice bringing the ability to enhance, share and nurture her passion. A priority of Jodi’s is her focus on biomechanics and injury prevention as it weaves through the creative space of her classes.

In-Studio Beyond Basics

This class offers a much deeper, more vigorous practice than the Basic Beginners class. While still considered ‘basic’, more Asana is introduced that will challenge those who are ready to step up from the Beginners level. Postures are held for a longer period of time than in the Basic Beginners class, building more endurance, balance and an acute awareness of the Mind, Body connection. Although all are certainly welcome, it is recommended that you have a basic understanding of the Asanas and how to safely move thru them. This is a popular class and the room temperature for this class is kept at 75 degrees.

In-Studio Stretch and Restore* Description Something different! Enjoy a yoga practice that combines “Yin” style active and passive stretching with supportive restorative poses. This class will strengthen and renew your joints and tissues around the hips, pelvis, and spine while allowing you to connect with your breath and body for a deep stretch, relaxation, and restoration. This class will offer longer holds and finish with a full 8+minute savasana for a beautiful integration of the practice. Leave with a feeling of deep relaxation and restored energy. All levels and abilities are welcome and encouraged!

The teacher will guide beginner students through the proper alignment and form, while encouraging more experienced practitioners to challenge themselves, building strength, flexibility, and balance for all.
